Person Test of English Academic (PTE) is a computer-based test that the uses task-oriented questions to measures English language proficiency of students or workers who are hoping to study or work abroad. The test has been constructed in such a way that the questions, in many instances, combine different skills, so that the test better assesses a person’s English in realistic situations.
Score Pattern
The PTE Academic tests a student’s abilities in speaking, writing, reading, and listening. Completing all sections typically takes 3 hours on average. PTE Academic gives you a score from 10–90 on the Global Scale of English, so you can measure your English skills with pinpoint accuracy.
