A few universities in Australia provide up to two years of credit for their Bachelor of Nursing course with Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to international students based on students’ overseas nursing registration, degree & work experience. International students in Australia with overseas Bachelor of Nursing degree, Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL Nursing) and General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM), clinical work experience & valid nursing registration are eligible to apply for Bachelor of Nursing course with credit transfer request.

Many international nurses in Australia have got up to 240 Credits (Equivalent to 2 years total credits) with their overseas Nursing degree and work experience which has reduced their study period of Bachelor of Nursing into 1 year.

Entry Requirement

PTE

  • PTE: Overall 65 not let than 65 in one attempt or maximum in two sittings within six months and overall, 65 in each sitting, 65 in at least two modules and not less than 58 in any model.

Education

  • Overseas Bachelor of Nursing/ PCL/ GNM Nursing

International Registered Nurse experience

  • International Registered Nurse experience required.
